Nokia Mobiles, yester year leader in mobile segment is trying to regain momentum by launching new devices in the market to get ahead in the race. Nokia has unveiled Nokia Nokia 808 PureView at Mobile World Congress which was held earlier this year in Barcelona, Spain. One of the distinct feature of Nokia 808 PureView, is the camera that has been fixed on the back of this mobile device. The phone is fitted with a 41 mega pixel lens, which is not only high for a mobile phone standard but even its high for a professional camera segment. The inclusion of this massive pixel resolution camera into the mobile phone has left many of them speechless. If we go by look and feel, this phone is slightly heavier and thicker, but the way this phone is designed, it's very comfortable to hold and easy to operate. One of the main reasons for the phone being so heavy and bulky is the inclusion of camera. According to some news inputs, Nokia 808 PureView has gone through some immense research and development process which lasted for five years.Nokia 808 PureView would definitely be one of the most popular mobiles in Nokia lineup.

If we look at the physical and technical specifications of Nokia 808 PureView, this is a GSM phone which works on 2G and 3G technologies. This phone was first exhibited and announced at Mobile World Congress meet held earlier this year in February, and is expected to get retailed by end of May 2012. As said earlier, the phone is slightly on the heavier side, mainly because of the camera and the image sensor that is fixed inside this phone. The phone comes with 4.0 inch display area with Nokia ClearBlack Display and a pixel resolution of 360 x 640p. The display of this handset has AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is well protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone comes with an internal memory of 16 GB which is scalable upto 48 GB.
Nokia 808 PureView runs on Nokia Belle operating system and is powered by 1.3 GHz ARM 11 processor, which is well supported by 512 MB RAM. The phone has good data and internet connectivity as this phone supports, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC and USB technologies.
Now coming to the most unique feature of the phone that is the camera which is fitted on the rear end of the phone, with features like lossless zoom technology, geo tagging and face detection. The phone is also fitted with LED flash light on the back panel.
