Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray – The Stylish Android Smartphone

Sony Ericsson has announced a new mobile phone named as Sony Ericsson Xperia ray which will come with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread operating system. It is expected to feature 1GHz Scorpion processor, 8 MP camera, Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate. Sony Ericsson Urushi practically looks like a smaller version of the Xperia Arc, where the screen is now limited to 3.2-inches screen with a resolution of 854x480 pixels. The display is powered by Bravia mobile engine which is capable of real time noise reduction and delivers acute sharpness, good color and contrast management. Sony Ericsson Urushi also features snapdragon chipset which includes Adreno 205 GPU, used in smart phones, laptops, tablets and other smart book devices.

After lot of buzzes and predictions finally Sony Ericsson has uncovered the Xperia ray to win the heart of Xperia mobile fans as well as of other consumers who wishes to get an ideal blend of rich features in a compact and sleek case. Of course, being as an Xperia series successor the ray brought up lot of goodies under the hood, but obvious still we need to find out that ray is living upon Xperia vows or not?
If we talk about exterior of ray then it is an ideal time to rejoice for the reason that Ray gets finest dimensions like 111x53x9.4mm which makes it a perfect size to choose between too short Xperia mini and slim but mammoth Xperia Arc. Its alluring personality becomes more attractive in slim and glossy Aluminium case which swanks about the sturdy built of Ray with elegancy. Quality of its sturdy built also glimpse in the 3.3inch scratch-resistant TFT capacitive touch screen that uses multi-touch input to delivers so much clear visuals of 854x480p resolution and 16M color rich which gets more vibrant just with turning on the Sony BRAVIA engine assistance. The whole port configuration of Ray is derived from its Xperia predecessor such as a micro USB port, 3.5mm Audio jack, except a HDMI port which you will found in its other Xperia siblings like Neo and all.
Same as earlier Xperia phones this Ray also a runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS with Qualcomm MSM8255 1 GHz Snapdragon processor both don?t need any explanation about their powerful performance which has already proved in prior Xperia beasts. For snappers Ray packs an 8MP autofocus camera with better resolution but the LED flash creates some problem while taking the photos those results in mediocre quality photos. But the 720p video recording capability at 30fps can be a boon for you with Dual mics for noise-cancellation and stereo sound capture. A front camera serves better for video calling with high speed 3G and Wi-Fi support. For storage purpose ray also brought vast memory support of 512MB RAM and 300MB as an internal memory support which is extendable up to 32GB according to further requirements. Gaming will be a pleasant experience for on its extremely fine and high pixel density display with built-in accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors as well as watching movies becomes a great cinematic experience for you with very loud sound effects. The Ray also Includes Bluetooth with A2DP and GPS receiver with A-GPS for easy of data sharing and navigation on the go.
At the end we have found that Ray stands well upon its Xperia vows with plenty of Xperia Smartphone features which are packed in a design-conscious chassis to provide you best of both the world of Xperia Arc and Xperia mini.
